Report regarding jurisdictional issues related to M & M Plant Sales Garden Mart as directed by the Board of Supervisors located at 190 San Benito Street in Hollister, CA and update regarding staff recommended options for securing adjacent property.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
As the Board is aware, Ms. Marci Huston, sole proprietor of M & M Plant Sales Garden Mart located at 190 San Benito Street in Hollister, CA has registered several complaints regarding loitering and trespassing issues on the property adjacent to her place of business as listed herein.
Staff reached out to and made contact with Mr. Jason Noble, a local realtor who represents the property owner of said adjacent property. Mr. Noble has been extraordinarily cooperative and responsive to staff's attempts to develop a viable set of options for possible consideration by the Board.
In summary, Mr. Noble has identified a local fence company that could possibly place a fence around the property adjacent to Ms. Huston's place of business at a cost of approximately $488.00 for a six month time period.
At the Board meeting, staff will discuss options that the Board may consider.
While the locations being discussed are not within the jurisdiction of the County as confirmed by the San Benito County Sheriff's Department, the County may consider various options being proposed in the interest of public safety for the entire community of Hollister and San Benito County.
