BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Resource Management Agency received an offer of donation of a flag pole to be installed at the Bertha Briggs Memorial Building at Veterans Memorial Park from Girl Scout Troop 23402. The value of the flag pole is approximately $550. Staff will coordinate the final location of the proposed pole, and with the Board’s approval, a flag pole will be purchased, installed, and donated to the County.

It is respectfully recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
1) Adopt Resolution 2016-___, accepting the donation of a flag pole with a value of $550 and authorizing its installation at the Bertha Briggs Memorial Building at Veteran's Memorial Park, and authorize the Chair to sign; and
2) Adopt Volunteer Release of Liability and Express Assumption of Risk form to be signed by volunteers for this and similar projects.
