BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) has utilizied UC Davis Extension Center for Human Services for on-site training services for several years to provide mandated standardized training for staff. The UC Davis Extension on-site trainings are a cost effective and time efficient way to provide required trainings for social service staff. Training is provided at a HHSA facility and UC Davis provides the instructor and training materials which is included in the contract price. The HHSA is able to avoid overnight travel and other related costs.
UC Davis provides an in-kind contribution of $3,950 for Child Welfare, Eligibility and CalWORKs staff and $1,185 for general/fiscal staff training programs, which is reflected in the contract price. The net cost to HHSA for these contracts is $58,065.00.

3)EW-2016-27 at $35,550 for 10 units of training for Eligibility and CalWORKs staff.
