BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The parties have reached settlement in the lawsuit County of San Benito v. Cristina M. Martinez, et al., Superior Court of California, County of San Benito, Case No. CU-15-00063, filed to acquire property in eminent domain needed for the Hospital Road Bridge project. The County reached a negotiated purchase with the property owners several years ago, but was unable to clear title with a lending institution. The lawsuit was required in order to resolve these matters. All parties have signed the attached stipulation. Once the Board of Supervisors approves it, the County will obtain judgment from the Court and record clear title with the Recorder's Office.
