BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Each Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic in San Benito County wears a San Benito County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Patch on their right sleeve. The current EMS patch has been used for years and has unfortunately become dated and in need of revision. San Benito County EMS held a competition where several local EMTs, Paramedics, and Firefighters submitted patch ideas. Only one patch, however, was of high enough quality to be considered. The attached patch was submitted by a Hollister Fire Department Engineer who also designed the current Hollister Fire Department patch. It is this submitted patch that San Benito County EMS recommends to succeed the current patch.
