Discuss and provide direction to staff. If the Board desires to pursue a local campaign ordinance, the Board may request staff to return to the Board with a draft ordinance for the Board’s consideration, or appoint an ad hoc committee to work with staff in the preparation of a draft ordinance. Alternatively, if the Board determines that a local campaign ordinance is not required at this time or should be deferred to a future date, no action is required.
