BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County Auditor respectfully requests the following modifications to the Schedule of Authorized Positions in the Fiscal Year 2015-16 Adopted Budget:

Approve the deletion of one Account Clerk III position; and, approve the addition of one Payroll Technician with the authority to under-fill the job class with an Account Clerk III position.
This request for modification of the Schedule of Authorized Positions is made to accommodate the different staffing needs related to the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP), Logos by New World Systems. The ERP installation strategy was to adopt a multiple-phased in approach to insure accuracy and adoption of the various modules of the software roll-out. These requested modifications of the Schedule of Authorized Positions allow the department greater flexibility to accommodate the changing needs of the technology driven ERP system. In addition, the requested modifications are fully covered by the existing Adopted Budget Appropriations.
