BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Equipment is being procured through the FY15 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP). Purchase has previously been approved by the grant approval authority. The equipment will upgrade the previous techonology at the location purchased in FY03-06 as well as enchance its capabilities.
Items are being purchased through the state contract to insure fair procurement using federal grant dollars and in accordance with local purchasing guidelines.
San Benito County IT has approved this purchase and the equipment will be managed and maintained by the City of Hollister IT.
