Approve Contract with Myrna Aguilar-Flores for Mental Health Counseling Services To Health and Human Services Clients for the period of September 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $80,000.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) has contracted for mental health counseling services for several years. The contractor from previous years has indicated that they are no longer interested in providing services, therefore HHSA will need to secure a new contractor.
Ms. Flores is the mental health counselor previously employed by the prior contractor and is very willing to continue to provide services to HHSA. The contract for services includes clients involved with Child Welfare and CalWORKs. The contract includes limited office space for appointments with clients and the contractor will be charged rent for the space on a per hour used basis. HHSA has also agreed to provide a lockable file cabinet for client records in order to ensure HIPPA compliance.
The contract has a not to exceed amount of $80,000 and is included in the FY 16/17 recommended budget.
