BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On April 16, 2015, Representative Sam Farr (for himself, Mr. Valadao, and Mr. Denham) introduced HR 1838, which would establish the Clear Creek national Recreation Area in San Benito and Fresno Counties. An earlier version of the bill, HR 1776, had previously been considered in 2013. HR 1838 passed in a vote of the House on July 5, 2016, and will be next considered by the Senate.
