BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) wishes to contract with the Agricultural Commissioner for the collection and submission of compliance and enforcement data pertaining to Calendar year 2015.  This contract is to assist DPR in carrying out its Enforcement Evaluation and Improvement Project.

 

The term of this contract begins on July 1, 2016 and extends through February 28, 2017.

 

This contract will reimburse the County the actual costs for providing this service.  Work will be performed by existing regular staff.  The anticipated revenue has been budgeted in the Agricultural Commissioner's Budget for FY 2016/2017.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

1. Approve Contract 16-C0024 between the California Department of Pesticide Regulation for the collection and submission of historical compliance and enforcement data for CY2015. Total contract $13,654.52.

 

2.  Authorize the Chair to sign contract.

 

3.  Authorize the Chair to sign Contractor Certification Clause required by the State of California (CC-307)
